Want to reduce that annoying Oily Skin problem?

Here’s some tips and guidelines to follow to minimize that problem!

Face Washing Routine: Every single day our faces are exposed to dirt, dust, and temperature. This plays a BIG factor in why our skin produces Sebum. Sebum is a natural moisturizer that our skin produces to try and protect itself from things listed above, it only becomes a factor when your skin produces too much of that sebum where it becomes to oily making us not to happy! So start by washing your face with hot water and then follow with cold water after repeat this process a few times this will make blood circulation in your skin and it will clean out those opened pores exposed to all those nasty things that will make your skin oily.

Diet control: Yes food has a big role in our skin, remember the term “You are what you eat” well think about it this way if you are the type to fatty foods all the time you will definitely notice the amount of breakouts and oil in your skin will increase because our body uses the fats from those foods to produce the oil in our skin. Now I’m not saying you can’t ever indulge and eat fatty foods just portion the amounts you eat, and try adding some vegetables and fruit into your diet Grapefruit is a great alternative because it’s high in fiber and water content which your skin will love!

Hydration: I cannot stress to you enough how important water is to your skin and your general health! Drinking water throughout your day hydrates your body and makes your skin look and feel healthy. This relates back to “Diet control” cutting out carbonated beverages and drinks that have sugars in them will also make a change in your skin because water has that nutrients and real hydration those other drinks can’t give you, and don’t be fooled by those vitamin waters yes they are delicious but they do include those added sugars, coloring, and flavoring. But don’t expect to see magical results overnight start by getting your 8 glasses of water a day and you will start to notice changes over time. It’s much worth the wait your skin will thank you.

Use water based skin products: These products are suitable for your skin because they do not contain the added oils that will only make your problems worse, Avoid using Alcohol based toners because yes alcohol cleans skin very good but can leave your skin over dry which will cause your skin to produce extra oil to hydrate itself again. What you should go for is skincare products based on glycolic acid. Glycolic acid is used as a natural skin exfoliant and moisturizer it’s the best way to go because it is a natural skin care product. If your concerned about what types of products are right for you consult a dermatologist and he/she will talk to you about what options are right for you and your skin.

I hope these tips will help you to get rid of this unwanted problem!xo
